Misool Eco Resort: This villa is located in the Misool Eco Resort, a dive facility located on a private island in the Raja Ampat archipelago in Indonesia’s West Papua province. It is designed to function as a family vacation home for its owners, as well as a rental property. As such it can be leased in a three-bedroom configuration to one party, or two one-bedroom units, with a flex space and loft available to one of the units. The traditional high pitched form of the alang-alang thatched roof promotes passive cooling of the interior spaces by capturing ocean breezes and maximizing stack-effect air movement.
